I had to give this place a star as it does not allow for no star ratings.I would give 0.\r New to Austin I did not have the luxury of knowing who was a good doctor. I went online and picked an office close by hoping for the best. I was pregnant with my first baby and wanted someone who was professional but more importantly caring and available if I needed questions answered. This was not just a check up I entrusted them to deliver my baby. \r \r Anyway when I first came in with my husband the receptionist was extremely rude. I found out later that they all are.. very short on the phone and I was shocked at how brusque they are! I would be fired for that attitude. The wait time is at least 35 minutes on a good day. I saw Dr. Abikhaled and she seemed rushed and like she could not get up out of the room fast enough. If they overbook and she was tired maybe I could understand but she was only in the office part time anyway. They often arrive late too so the answering service picks up when they are supposed to be open. \r \r Right before I went to contractions Dr. Abikhaled LEFT THE BUILDING for god knows what and I had to hold in contractions until she returned. PAINFUL. Then after she barely spoke to me in the daily 1 second hospital visit, I was clearly emotional and she just ignored it and breezed out . Not thorough at all. I tried to schedule a post partum visit and they told me she only has a nurse see the patients- she does not even bother to meet them much less examine them. Now what kind of doctor does this? Once the baby is delivered she cannot be bothered. This office has by far been the rudest place I have ever been, shockingly unprofessional and this is compounded by being at the worst time to have that treatment: when you are pregnant, emotional (but I still had realistic expectations) & vulnerable. I wanted to switch several times but was too far along so bit the bullet. Please, PLEASE do not make the same mistake I did. \r \r You will truly regret it.
