Review content:
I just moved to Denver in May. I went to college at Wake Forest (we'll miss you Coach Prosser) and after college I stayed in the area up until just recently. We really have some great BBQ places around there if anybody wants to try the real thing--as in open pit BBQ where they cook with real fire and smoke. Anyhoo, I tried Famous Dave's out here and that really sucked, so someone in the office told me to go to Brothers. The guy in the office was talkin' them up big time, and I was let down in a major way. The chicken was dryer than sawdust and the potato salad was just nasty. This place would go out of business in North Carolina. The guy in the office told me to try something else next time, but I'm going to try a couple of other places first. If anyone knows of a really good BBQ place in this town please post it here so that the true BBQ lovers that are new to the area will know where to go. I do have to say though, they did have some awesome tea. I guess people here call it sweet tea, but this does seem to be the only place to find it out here. I have stopped by a couple of times just for the tea! If anyone knows of any other places in Denver that serve some decent tea please post that too. Pros: the tea was good, the decorations were cool Cons: chicken was dry, potato salad was bad
