Review content:
I was a regular here when it first opened but hadn't been in a while (I moved 15 blocks away into Sunset Park). I decided to take a friend here who was visiting from out of town and we had a great time. We got there at 12:30 (they're open till 1am on weekends!) and found the staff to be friendly and helpful for such a late hour. \r \r We tried the sausage appetizer and kangaroo salad to start and both were awesome. Especially the sausages, which come with several condiments on the side and fresh lettuce leaf wraps. For our main courses, we shared the tamarine duck breast and the slow cooked pork chop. Both were outstanding. \r \r My friend and I were also really impressed by the cocktail list - great mojitos!! The evening ended on a romantic note and we never felt rushed our hurried through out meal, which I really appreciated. Long Tan is just another example of why 5th Ave. is Brooklyn's #1 resaturant area. Pros: service, food, cocktails
