I had to dodge fragments of a beer bottle that had shattered after being thrown but I stayed anyway because the band was good and I was still waiting for my drink. My friends had trouble finding parking so I would encourage people to come early ? there is not many options in walking distance so this is likely your evening's last or only destination. People are nicer than they appear from the offset and there is a refreshing absence of trendy scenesters that could mess up the vibe. This is an area of town that is generally unexplored which means two things: 1) not a lot of passer-by traffic or bar-hoppers and 2) certain surrounding areas are creepy. That being said, use caution choosing a place to park and bring your friends. Pros: Good drinks, loud music in abandoned (and underappreciated) part of town Cons: Could get struck by a bottle and may need to have your friend walk you to your car
