Horrific care!!! Rescue dogs are treated better..Had to take my father off of life support and was assured he would be kept comfortable during his final days. Walked in to find him thrashing in the bed and was told by the doctor 'this is nothing, you should have seen him an hour ago'. Needed to call every 3 hours to make sure he was given his medication and then he still was not! Screamed at the hospital administrator, reassured by 5 different doctors they would fix it, they never did. The nurses were TERRIBLE!!! One doctor hung up on me, one nurse hung up on me, one nurse said he seemed a little more alert today (he was in the final stages of dying!!!!). Disgusting, inhumane treatment of another human being. I cannot tell you how upsetting it was to have someone die in this hospital. They should be shut down. Absolutely reprehensible. RUN FROM THIS PLACE. Disgusting treatment by apathetic, unsympathetic, filthy, uneducated morons. I will be lodging complaints with medicare, the state, and anyone else with the power to close them down. No one should ever be subjected to this place again.
