Review content:
The Petit Robert Bistro in Kenmore Square serves up French-inspired entrées with an emphasis on value. Few dishes top the $20, a rare find when considering other French restaurants in Boston. Entrées are not as inventive here as other places such as L'Espalier, but the flavors and traditions carry well into each of the plates.
Service here is ok, and reflects the slightly blue-collar atmosphere of this section of Boston. The sandwiches on the lunch menu are excellent and come served on classic French baguettes.
