Review content:
We were in the process of buying a new home from this seller. We gave them the earnest money. Unfortunately, my husband was told that he will be getting a layoff with a month. We inform the builder that without the job we cannot afford to purchase this home. They put the house for sale back in the market for the same price. When we ask them to return at least part of the earnest money, they refused to return any money. We feel that builder is just want to sell the house. They did not care about layoff which we could do nothing about it. These builders are people with not good heart. Still we cannot understand how they fault us for withdrawing the offer from them and take the whole earnest money from us. When we are ready to show the pink slip to them in a month. We do not have any other employment. Can anyone help us?
