Interesting enough, my story is similiar to Ruddfan71, only my car only sat for a week before being looked at. My car was T-boned by another driver and apparently all it needed was an alignment and a new wheel/tire.\r
While that may be the truth, I was told that I couldn't get the old tire back since they paid the $50 for a core charge and the 'other' company they purchased the wheel from took the old on.\r
When I insisted on getting the wheel back the produced it. So aparently they paid a core charge without give them the core. \r
They made me pay an additional $50 to get my wheel back and gave me a story about how they have extra wheels laying around and that they gave the guy someone elses wheel.\r
I would have stood my ground but I am just going to pass the cost onto the other guys insurance.\r
On top of everything, the miserable bitch behind the counter couldn't give me anymore pissy condesending looks if she tried.\r
and by the way, they have a warranty on their labor but can't produce any paperwork on it, so when asked they just say that they don't need paperwork, its 'Standard'.\r
Whatever that means. I was excited that they had some good reviews on another site, but you never see the bad reviews until after the work is done.\r
My search for a reputible, reliabe, competent Virginia Beach mechanic continues.
