I was thrilled when The Dodo came to Sugarhouse, now I didn't have to deal with parking downtown! I wasn't, however, thrilled with their service. Not at all, not any of the 3 times I've been. Maybe it's the curse of the patio- all 3 times we were sat on the patio, and all 3 times we waited an hour for our food!! I thought maybe the first time it was because they were "new" and still working out the kinks, but it seems to be just how things run there. I had to ask the waiters several times for refils on my soda, and even once for silverware and napkins. One time the waiter forgot about an order and someone at our table had to wait 10 minutes longer to get his plate. Another time 2 extra meals that we never ordered were on our bill? Small mistakes if they happened just once, but like I said before, something like this happens every time I go! I will say the food is good, not amazing, but good. If you're willing to wait 30 minutes to be seated, 20 minutes to order and then another hour to get your food. The dessert is amazing though. Maybe next time I'll just get a dessert to go. I am less than impressed with the service.
