3.5/5 Stars The Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant was a nice little stop. I've had two entrees there: the three taco dinner and the fiesta sampler. I don't usually divide my reviews up as I have this one, but my experience with the first entree was so much different than the experience with the second I've decided to do such here. 4.5/5 Stars The three tacos were fantastic. They clearly make the crunchy shells themselves and the shredded beef tasted great. I wish they made the taco shells to order though. 3/5 Stars My fiesta platter was something of a disappointment. The quessadilla was a quessadilla - flour tortilla and cheese - not much you can do with that... The flautas (I think that's what they were) were ok, but nothing to come back for. The cheese sauce was also ok. The taco (which I was excited about) had the poorest ground beef I've had - it tasted like fast-food. And the tamale - another favorite Mexican dish of mine - was very sweet an had fairly little meat inside it. Both dishes were luke-warm at best. I'd like to see the food hotter, fresher, and... Grate your own cheese - the Kraft pre-graded stuff makes a mediocre dish out of what would otherwise be delicious. I may give this place another shot, but it's definitely not a sure thing.
