My family and I were all very excited for a trip around the city on a dinner cruise for Mother's Day. We thought it was going to be a great experience. NOT!! We never complain when we go out and always try to enjoy ourselves. this is actually the very first complaint I have posted in my life about anything. Once you arrive, you cannot board immediately. You must wait in a dingy, dirty, digusting and super small room off the side of the dock. then you must wait in line for your ticket stubs, and then another line to board the boat. BE CAREFUL when walking down the ramp..unsturdy and dangerous. it is definitely a lawsuit waiting to happen. To board the boat, you must walk up a three step stool which is made of plastic, about 2 feet wide and not secured to the ground. Also careful when getting off (hopefully you won't go) since you must use the plastic steps again, and the boat sways back and forth making you calcute the time to get off the boat and not fall straight into the water. About 150 people total on the boat...there were 5 chaffing dishes of food...the food actually did not taste bad, but the presentation!! plastic plates, plastic silverware, plastic cups! At about $100 a person, they sure could invest in a couple of real dishes. Food consisted of 2 pastas, grilled chicken, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and salad. that's it for over 100 ppl!! ....oh, frozen cheesecake too. We were all so very disappointed in the presentation, the set up, the service, everything! you must pay extra for premium liquors, bottled water, martinis...these are all not included w/ your 2 drink stubs and have to pay at least $2 extra. I know $2 is not a lot of money, but in reality it'll make your drinks about $20 each. the buffet line forms around and practically on top of other tables that are occupied. People could not sit or get up from their tables because everyone was trying to get food. I am sorry to say that it was the worst dining experience of our lives and it is a real shame. Very unorganized and their advertising is completely and disgustingly false! everyone on this boat complained, not just us. The pics on their website have to be from another place or nicer boat, because the Majestic Queen or princess is definitely not on their site! Spare yourselves a bad night and go somewhere else.... Pros: Trip Was Cut Short Cons: food, service, attention, boat.
