I recently gave the North Hills Planet Beach a try since we live in the North Hills neighborhood. It was my first encounter with the Mystic Tan experience and I arrived at the store expecting to be greeted with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. Boy was I wrong. I wish I had read a prior review on the website because it was dead -on! I was greeted with a very unfriendly staff of three ladies preoccupied with their social chitter chatter. The tall blonde at the register barely gave me the time of day and she seemed incredulous that I had so many questions (of course I was a new customer and unfamiliar with the Mystic Tan experience). She was very matter of fact, took my money, showed me the booth- then got out as fast as she could. I was pleased with the results of the spray-on tan but will take my business elsewhere - there are other Planet Beach salons in the area. In this economy, these services are a luxury and customers expect ""service with a smile"" for their money. Hopefully the owner who posted a response will clean house and spend some time cultivating a more cheerful and enthusiastic staff!
