Last night I went to Charlie's for my birthday and due to some drama they have with the fire marshall was ushered in through the patio door that they use to take out the trash, then my friends and I were herded into a line by the patio and led around towards the side bar, when we were about 15 people away from finally paying our cover we gave up and snuck through the kitchen area. After getting inside we had a couple drinks and left as we were over the drama of getting inside. This bar is fun at times (rare times) but I refuse to have to be led around like that because they can't sort out thier drama. What a bad start to a Friday night. Abandon hope all ye who enter here...
Pros: parking, location to UT, DJ on Friday
Cons: management, staff, no crowds
