I've lived here for almost 4 years and it is absolutely terrible. I love the location, so I've stayed, but no more. The air conditioner is ALWAYS broken, the office staff changes more often than I change my underwear, there are substance abusers and drunks getting into fights, and there are dog dropings everywhere. The office staff is always comprised of unfriendly and unhelpful people who would rather yell at you than actually help you. The maintenance workers don't know how to fix an air conditioner to save their lives. I have to call every month to have someone come and fix my air, yet it still never works.
This complex is a dump. The dumpsters are often over flowing and the garbage accumulates around them smelling terrible. There are potholes in the driveways that won't get fixed until they are big enough to swallow a car whole. The gates are broken 75% of the time so you can always just drive right in. The paint is chipping off of the handrails and other decorative metal fixtures. The fountains routinely go without cleaning so the water turns green and putrid.
Utilities here are a joke. The apartments are supposed to be submetered for electricity, then they charge an electricity charge for the chiller unit, water plus a water base charge, gas plus a gas base charge, sewer, trash pick up, and administrative fees. No one has ever been able to explain to me what those base charges are. All of the utilities aside from the electricity are divided among the residents so no matter how much water or gas you use, you and your neighbor will be billed the same amount. If you want cable, your choice is Comcast. There are frequent outages and since the cable connection boxes are not locked, people often steal other people's cable.
The long and short of it is that I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and as soon as I pay the $1,000 that the office says I have to pay in order to move out (even though my lease is up, what a freaking rip off) I'm out of here.
