My dream was to go to TU my whole life. In 1999, it came true. I transferred from Tulsa Community College to TU and never regretted it. I got a great finacial aid package, practically covering the cost of my education! I had great teachers and counselors and friends. I got involved in TUTV as a Host/Reporter, Staff Writer of The T.U. Collegian, and Producer/D.J. of The Underground 101.5, in addition to being involved in Baptist Student Union. When I graduated in Dec. 2002, I actually grieved. I didn't want to leave my second family. Now, I work as a freelancer and am proud of the fact I am the first Gibson to graduate college in my family...and for that...I will always be a Tulsa Hurricane...GOTU!!!
