Review content:
I have collected James Avery jewelry since my years of growing up in Texas. Now I live in New York & look forward to visiting during my trips home. James Avery jewelry isn't on the cutting edge of trends or hipness, but it does offer timeless & traditional designs, some with a bit of whimsy, all of it beautiful & finely made. They offer a lot of faith-based items (which I'm not into) as well as many secular options as well. I usually stick w/ just the sterling silver, w/ a bit of gold sometimes, as stuff tends to get pricey in gold &/or w/ gemstones. The sales associates at this location were so friendly & helpful during my last visit, very informative & upfront about pricing & services. I had to go twice because I needed links removed from a bracelet & had to return to pick it up, both times service was accommodating & personable. It can get a little crowded here at times, in which case you'll have to take a number, but there were at least 2 associates helping (at times more) so it's not a bad wait for assistance. Also, they have a cool display of discontinued designs at discounted prices - VERY nice & quite appealing to get soon-to-be gone items for less money! (And, nothing is every truly discontinued here, they keep all the molds... in the past I've had them re-make discontinued designs, though custom-orders for such retired pieces does cost a little more). The shopping complex this store is located within is cool, w/ great stores & convenient parking. Overall, my mom, other females in our family & I really enjoy making a visit to James Avery a family tradition!
Pros: Classic & beautiful designs, friendly & accommodating service
Cons: Can be a bit conservative
