I thought I'd seen everything until I had dinner at Caffe La Fenice. We were seated and served and just finished our entrees when the hostess came over to our table and said, ""I'm sorry but this table is reserved so you'll have to leave"".\r
Have you ever heard such a thing??? We were not dawdling,. We barely were at the restaurant for an hour. We were never told when we were originally seated that we could only stay for an hour. \r
When we asked for her name she said she didn't have one! Had she said that there are people waiting, would you mind having dessert or a drink at the bar it might have been more tolerable. The waiter came over after this and apologized profusely. Apparently he must do this often as the hostess seemed very comfortable in her role as bouncer.
Pros: Nice atmosphere
Cons: Hostess was Cruella
