Review content:
Walking into this coin shop was my first time visiting such an establishment and most likely my last. The employee that buzzed me in was a very nice lady in her late forties. I handed her some silver dollars and some other items I wanted someone to look at and talk to me about. She stepped in back where a man in his early forties came out and proceeded to punch a couple of numbers into a register and barked something about how he could not do much with what I had and would give me about $200.00 for it. I began to ask him a question and he turned his back on me and walked into a back room. I stood there for another 5 minutes hoping to ask at least one question regarding an 1880 silver dollar I had as well as wanting to inquire about buying some gold bars. The lady came back out to buzz someone else into the shop and I asked her if she had any gold bars, not silver with gold plating, they had for sell? She went in back and I heard the same hair impaired gentleman (Sorry this is the only describing factor I have as he did not offer his name) tell her to show me a 1 gram bar. As you may or may not know this is no larger than half a stamp, width and size. With over $20,000.00 to spend on gold I politely asked the lady to buzz me out, and will never return to this establishment again. I run 17 small businesses and this is not how it is done. Respectfully, I recommend never giving this individual any of your business or money! Pros: One nice seemingly welcoming female employee Cons: The rest of my experience
