Review content:
I tried this cleaner out because of the good review on city search. what a huge mistake. I dropped off 9 work shirts, 3 slacks and a suit. \r
\r
my only request: please maintain the collar breaks. \r
guy's response: sure thing, but the only way to do that is to hand press instead of machine press so $1.80 / shirt instead of 60c, and your shirts will be ready in six days instead of two. \r
\r
fine. I go later to pick up my shirts and have never been treated so badly. First of all, every single one of my collars is ironed flat, not one single break preserved. then, when i said something, this crazy lady basically scolded me loudly for bringing her shirts of ""too cheap material"" to iron properly (it was obvious that my shirts were machine pressed in the front - her response: just look at the nice crease in your sleeves. my answer: I didn't care about the sleeves, i wanted the collar done right)\r
\r
secondly, one of my shirts had leftover ring around the collar. her response: ""your stain is too old."" basically, it's my fault that my shirt isn't clean. no offer to redo it.\r
\r
thirdly, my suit has a ball of my wife's hair on the front lapel. (did they even clean it? it smells like they just sprayed febreeze on it). when I mentioned this to her, she mumbled something about how she always satisfies her other customers and ""my expectations are too high""\r
\r
fourth, one of my pants has four white spots on the front that weren't there when i dropped them off. at this point she is YELLING at me. she rips it out of my hand and starts scratching it with her fingernail, ""no problem,"" she declares while showing me scratched white powder where a spot used to be. I can't believe it.\r
\r
I just resign myself to having been taken and I hand her my visa for my ridiculous $32.58 bill! NO CREDIT CARDS she yells again. I write her a check, she demands my driver's license and then slaps my card down on the counter. I paid 32 bucks to be treated like that.. they deserve to go out of business.
Pros: you can get scolded like a child for showing flaws in their work
Cons: overcharged for undercleaned clothes after six day turnaround
