Businiess name:  Canyon Pines Apartments

Review content:
The neighborhood is nice. The apartments are old and out of date. The rents are high and the apartment management is NOT teneant friendly. The water gets shut off almost monthly for repairs. The management only patches the problems they don't fix them. I have had problems with an over flowing toilet for close to 8 months. When i call the maintainance hotline and lave my number, NO ONE calls back or checks on my problem. When I go to the office and tell the manager about it, she says""ok I'll send someone right out."" I've only been waiting 8 months for maintainance to show. BBQ's are forbidden on our porches, but the manager has one. Rent increases are way to high. and when they have the trees cut or apts painted, the workers do an awful job. The tree brances drop and damage property including fence railings, and the painters spill paint on everything incliding the decks. When this is brought up to management they tell us ""oh well, it's part of the process."" then our rent get's raised because of these improvements. I personally know 6 people that moved out once their lease was up because of how unhappy they were at canyon pines. if you can find 2 washers or dryers working at the same time your very lucky. Brea is a nice city, move to Brea but DO NOT move to canyon pines. The apt deposit you give to canyon pines, will never be returned. They will find reasons to keep it and you have to sue them to get it back. RUN AWAY FROM canyon pines, RUN AWAY and DON'T LOOK BACK.
