very comfy, low-key -- but even a bit romantic -- place, and reasonable prices. but the food was nothing to come back for. Minestrone soup was bland and was more like a thick tomato broth with a few very wilted vegetables, no beans (although some make it without fagioli, it should have something else hearty). Mediterranean salad was an attack of heavily oiled eggplant and roasted peppers far outnumbering the mixed greens, way too heavy and too much to digest and a very imbalanced plate. The veggie lasagna was fine, nothing special, also very heavy on the cheese, not much spinach or veggie. service was pleasant, brought me parmesan for the soup, and more olive oil, but all in all it felt like the food could have been ordered and assembled from Trader Joe's down the block.
