Last year after I got engaged, my fiance and I had to start the daunting task of trying to plan a wedding. We chose to do our Wedding at Shirley Acres, I'd been to a wedding there before and remembered them doing an excellent job... We really didn't how to plan a wedding, but Lauren, our coordinator, took us by the hand and led us through all the details. Shirley Acres did a great job, from the time we started planning the wedding until we bolted out the door under a shower of rose petals to start our new lives together as husband and wife. The grounds were plush and green outside, making for great pictures. Inside was just as I imagined with dimly lit lights and amazing floral arrangements created by Jim their onsite florist. The food was grilled to perfection; the cake was beautiful and tasted the same. The staff at Shirley Acres is great, they took care of our every need, when the pressure was on, they reacted with ease and total control... I would highly recommend Shirley Acres for Weddings and Parties!!!
Pros: Customer Service/Great Accomodations/Excellent Value
Cons: Construction on FM 1960 (hopefully will be fixed up soon)
