Review content:
Having snubbed this store for the last decade it was a refreshing surprise to walk in and find that they still believe in good old fashion customer service.\r \r I had moved 'up market' in the '90's but have gotten tired of the snob factor at one of their neighbors (one that rhymes with infinitive) and the lose of all the useful sales people at their other more flowerly neighbor (seems since it was bought by bestbuy). I was pleasantly surprised to find that some of my favorite brands recently moved to Speakerlab, and with them it seems an updated focus on great audio there (they are also adding some good video, but they said the remodel wasn't done when I went in). Not only was I treated to a great low-pressure demo, I was also allowed to take home and test some speakers. I learned my leason years ago about buying A/V gear on the internet so i am glad to find a local store that can get me what I want, and do it without the attitude.
