I am getting married in Iowa. My fiances sister is going to be in the wedding and she lives in Milwaukee where he is from. I am getting my dress at the Bridal Botique in Platteville Wisconsin. They recommended that I try Eva's Bridal becuase they are a sister store so to say. THey are definatly night and day. In Platteville they remember me when I come in and by name. They make recommendations for bridemaid dresses and other dresses baised on my color scheme and my dress style. I am used to very personalized serive. This is not available at Eva's. When we walked in the lady could have cared less that we were there. She directed me to the bridesmaid dresses and that was it. She did not make any recommendations about waht dresses would look good on my maid's body type, she did not ask anything about my wedding or about my dress to help put a wedding together. When I did pick out dresses she did not help us get them into the fitting room or try them on or off. They do not have any of their designer names on their dresses or prices of any sort. They gave me the wrong color swatches for one of the dresses so I was looking at colors the dress was not even available in! I felt they could have cared less if I was there or not. THey have definatly gotten too big and forgotten the personalized service the brides want and deserve! Do yourself a favor and go somepalce that is going to be of service to you, not treat you like just another customer
