Review content:
Pros - The sermons at Shepherd of the Hills are excellent.--They are some of the best I've ever heard. Reverand Larry Coulter is genuine, inspiring, and loves the Lord. I know for certain that God is present in this church. In addition, the music is awesome, and Shepherd of the Hills provides many wonderful opportunities for children. Finally, this church offers some excellent ministries. They put their money where their mouth is, and they actively do God's work. Cons - I believe Shepherd of the Hills is a church geared toward young families and seniors. If, however, you are middle-aged and single, this might not be the best church choices for you. After attending for more than 8 months, I don't know anyone there on more than a superficial level even though I attended an 8 week evening class, volunteered for a few events, attended some group meetings and a potluck. I still sit alone when I go, and I can only tell you a few people's names. Sometimes this makes me sad, but then again the main reason I go is to honor God.
