Review date, Feb. 25 2010. I have been living here for a year now and these are my observations: CONS: The Laundry room: The laundry room on the North side quad of the property is cramped with no space whatsoever to even open the dryer doors. It is impossible to move around if there are more people doing laundry at the same time. The machines are always dirty, inside and out, and they are not serviced as they should (noisy and malfunction). The room floor is always dirty as well as the table where you are supposed to fold your clean clothes. The machines are card based so one has to go to the other room on the south side quad to reload (minimum charge is $10). That room is dirty and bad maintained as well.s Parking lot: I have seen 3 cars break ins in my time here (shattered glasses most of the time). The parking lot supposedly has surveillance but I don't think it works. The property is gated but anybody can get in here as there are always people rummaging through the trash and in the carports. There are potholes and lots of cracks in the lot pavement. The lot is never clean and it needs a good sweep as there are a lot of rock pebbles from the pavement cracking. Lighting: The lighting on the alternative entrances is very poor and unsafe. Arriving late at night is very unsafe due to the poor lighting. There's no light in any of these alternative entrances to the property. The only entrance well lit is the main entrance (by where the Racho Monterrey sign is located). The rest of the property is lit very poorly too (mostly with household bulbs that do not shed enough light). Maintenance: The maintenance crew (2 guys for the whole property) work hard, however, they seem to mostly focus on the landscape and forget to maintain, clean other parts of the property that need attention. ----------------------------------------------------------------- PROS: Plenty of parking inside and on surface streets. Quiet. Surprisingly quiet. No noisy neighbors so far. Close to freeway.
