Review content:
I live in Guernsey County. My family live in Columbus. They wanted to camp near me so that they can see the grand kids. I went into the campground. I saw signs for car pass but I wasnt sure what it was. I honestly thought it was for cars staying there. I drove past and was stopped by a man in a 4 wheeler. He asked me what I was doing, I said visiting my parents. He said you have to have a car pass turn around and get one. I obliged. I got up to the office and this man ran out all irate and stopped my car. He screamed at me that my kind isnt welcome here to get out of his campground, get off his property. I was puzzled. I asked him what the problem was. He said you hot rodder, this is a family campground, you could have ran over a kid, you were going 15 miles an hour. I said, are you serious? I have 2 small children in the back I wasnt hot rodding with my babies in the car. They are only 8 months old. The other man came up with a speed gun and said I clocked you at 15 mph this isnt a race track! I then got angry. I said my parents are staying here and they are paying good money to be near me. He said get off my property. I dont have a cell phone, he wouldnt let me use their phone so I had to drive 15 mins into town to use a phone to call my parents to tell them. I mean school speed limits are 20 mph! My dad went up to the office. The man said I was driving like a maniac, squealing my tires and spinning gravel. My dad knows what kind of car I have and knows this is impossible. He cussed my dad up one side and down the other. Told him to get out. So he said fine. The man threw his money at him, then had someone stare at them until they packed up. In the mean time my nephew came out to tell me. I was sitting on the side of the road because I wasnt allowed on property. When my nephew went back in they told him he wasnt allowed back in. He didnt even do anything. So they then put a van in front of my parents motor home so that they couldnt drive more than 5 mph on the way out and had someone follow my parents up to the state park where they met me. They are rude, nasty, unprofessional. There is no way I would ever tell anyone about this place. I have never seen a service business be so horrible to their paying customers. Cons: This Place Is HORRIBLE!!!
