MY DAUCHUND HAD HEART WORMS DR. Kettler and DR. Vaughn assured me that they could do a surgical procedure to remove the heart worms, when i asked them what were her chances of making it through the surgery they said she has a 75% chance and that they were confident that they could remove the worms and get her well,they failed to tell me that this was a very risky surgery and that more dogs die from this surgery than live,2 hrs. later they called me and told me hedgers was dead they said that she didn't die during the surgery, she died in recovery due to respretory distress(BULL) I don't believe that for one minute, I think they knew she wouldn't make it and that they could collect 1,284.00 from me which was what they charged me. I feel like if they were honest people they would refund my money I feel like they played on me because they knew I was willing to do anything just to save her, I have since researched this surgery and have found that it is a very risky surgery and that more dogs die from it than live, had i known this i could have taken her home loved her keep her comfortable and let her pass in her own home instead of a cold vet hosp. alone. I have fell into a deep depression over this and missed a week of work over it. They should be ashamed, people love their amimals like they love their kids.LOST WITHOUT HEDGERS!!!!
