We purchased our Rainbow Playsystem 2 years ago upon seeing our neighbor's new purchase. After spending $4,000 for this playsystem we expected far better quality. The warranty is horrible, the customer service is awful, there is nothing friendly about this company after the sale. The salespeople never disclosed many points of interest until after the sale when we tried to contact them. There are hidden charges so be very conscious before you buy. The wood weathers horribly as do the other pieces. The company people we spoke to are all about the sale and no service afterwards. Don't listen to anything they say, they are great sales people in the showrooms. Ask for references before you buy, go to homes and look at the weathered mess in people's yards. Your $4,000+ expense will greatly go up in the next few years so be very wary. We are still fighting with their customer service people to get pieces replaced that have developed some type of sticky goo all over them. Over course they take no blame and keep blaming us for the mess. We live in an open area with no trees or other environmental factors that could be getting on the playset. And I can't say this enough, you can buy far better, please research more than we did and ask many questions about the service after the sale. These people are nothing but money hungry company owners who don't care about their customers! Rainbow Playsystems are NOT worth the money! Please heed this advice and spend your money more wisely than we did. Our neighbors are not regretting their purchase also since their system weathered horribly as our's did. We were told we should have stained it each year spending more money on their stain. This is ridiculous, go to Wal-Mart or anywhere and pay $500 for a metal set which won't need this attention, let the kid's play without worry and save your money for their college funds! We were taken and we are so sorry we supported Rainbow Playsystems!
