I have to agree with the post by markinnyc on 8/30/07. They USED TO BE one of the best. As the other post stated ""the focus changed from excellent quality patient care to money"". In 2005 SEVERAL doctors appeared to not be happy with things there and LEFT Tower ID for other practices. I had been a patient of Cyril Gauthier for many years and followed him from one practice on Wilshire to a 2nd one then eventually followed him to Tower ID. He was a pretty good doctor. I was living in San Diego and made the trips up because I felt the care was better AND BECAUSE they are in buildings attached to Cedars Hospital (which has EXCELLENT CARE). I had broken my neck on Marine Corps Air Station Miramar & still made the 140 mile trips (each way). In 2004 on one of my visits I thought Dr. Cyril Gauthier was coming back into the room, when he didn't and the nurse came , I asked about some lesions I had on my hands and arms. I was told that I would have to wait till my next appointment to have him look at what the nurse called ""a mole"". I was too sick to return to San Diego and 3 days later called to get an appointment as an emergency. I was told they only had an appointment in 3 more weeks, and that I could NOT see another Doctor till then. (MY INSURANCE HAD CHANGED!!) \r \r I went elsewhere and discovered that I had three KS lesions and had to have them removed immediately. When I did go back I asked to be assigned to another doctor. I was put in with Dr. Phillip Musikanth. I told the office staff and the office manager, Carrington Chandler, what had happened with the KS. They apologized and assured me that nothing like that would happen again.\r \r In 2005 when Dr. Musikanth, Dr. Stryker and several others left, I asked to be assigned to someone else. I was told by staff and Mr. Chandler that they could not accommodate me, but maybe in a few months. After a year of trying it was clear it would not happen.\r \r Now that my insurance changed,\r THEY DON'T CARE & don't keep promises! Pros: Improved counter/reception service with James at the counter Cons: Many doctors left for some reason, staff is not upfront and NOT HONEST, incl. Office Mgr.
