Businiess name:  El Charro Mexican Restaurant

Review content:
This place has slowly grown on us. We have chosen El Charro for family birthday parties because they 1.) have great food, and 2.) have tables and booths large enough to accommodate large families. ..we have 8 kids, so we are there quite a bit. My 16 year old daughter recently went to homecomeing...where do you suppose she wanted to go for dinner in her formal dress? Yep, El Charro. My husband and I like to go on our once a week date night, sit in the bar and have peach margaritas and split an entree. We are often served by the very freindly bartender who never fails to forget what we like to order...or the owner, who we have also seen at little league games where our kids play together. This isn't just a restaurant to us...while the food is great and never disappoints...it is a part of our community and part of our memories that we are building with our family. We recently went to downtown Bellevue with friends and found that all the restaurants were full...had hour long waits. We finally decided on one...sat to eat our outlandishly over priced meal with nouveau cuisine dollop sized portions and were served by a young kid who was indifferent and sort of rude like we should just be greatful to be there at all. All my husband & I could talk about on the way home was ""El Charro's would have been better, faster, cheaper, friendlier"". Pros: Great food, friendly staff, great prices, fabulous drinks, ample parking Cons: I agree with the other poster...the booths could be more comfortable.
