Review content:
I have brought all 6 of my children to West End Pediatric for 16 years. Dr. Jaffe had taken some time off and they brought in a new physician. He suggested we start our child on cow’s milk around 9 months old. For the next 8 months we had four office visits where we complained that out child was eating handfuls of dirt and he seemed to be very unhappy and lash out in fits. After looking online it was clear that our child suffered from PICOS and asked if this could be the case. They did blood work and found that our child’s iron levels were dangerously low. When speaking with other Pediatrics they said that should have been diagnosed the first visit with our description of symptoms. As a result our child was miserable for a year and still has behavioral problems as a result. When I asked for our transcripts not only did it take a month but all this information was conveniently not included in the transcripts. I have moved all my children.
