Maybe according to the modern American's standards for portions, these portions could be considered ""small"". But only for those who are used to consuming about three times as much food as you should in any one meal. If you get the Baked Chicken, for example, you will get about 1 and a half cups of spaghetti with cheese and butter, and a chicken breast with marinara. It takes up the whole, decent-sized plate. And if you really feel so inclined, you can even ""hearty size"" a meal and get more. Also, all the meals come with bread that they will keep bringing to you as often as you want, salad or soup, a drink, and a but of ice cream at the end. And that doesn't include the appetizer if you get one.\r \r The food here is nothing that can't be made at home. It's not high quality, but for the price, you can't really complain. This isn't the classy 5-star Italian restaurant that offers 4 or 5 different sparkling water varieties when you sit down. But it does take care of your pasta craving and leave you as stuffed as you choose to be. \r \r The service varies. I've had awesome service here and really bad service. There are enough people around, including the bussers, so that if you need something, it isn't difficult to get someone to take care of you. Overall, an okay place to eat if you're on a budget or don't feel like making dinner. Pros: Antiques, atmosphere, value. Cons: Quality, sometimes noisy when busy.
