A rare jewel that enhances the area of Chelsea! This family run pharmacy on Eighth Avenue, off 23rd St. is heaven sent! In an ever growing world that is impersonal and run by larger chains, New London Pharmacy has a gourmet selection of cosmetics, fragrances and anything else you may be looking for. But retail store aside, if you are looking for the type of care, attention and service you once received from your neighborhood pharmacist during a simpler time, this place is for you! Abby and everyone in the pharmacy department are knowledgeable and above, CARING! Feeling unwell is never fun and having to take new medications can be confusing, so it was a joyous surprise to find the pharmacy department in the back of the store! Abby, the owner and her team are truly hands on and cared about my every question and concern. With time, each time I returned to fill my prescriptions, I would be met by the friendly staff with a smile and they came to know me by first name. All my questions and concerns have always been met with the care and attentiveness you simply no longer receive, especially in a chain pharmacy setting like CVS or Duane Reade. Do yourself a favor and skip, don't run! to this stand out, in a sea of chain stores!
