Review content:
I often dread shopping at Raiford but find myself returning again and again because it at heart is a super shop! (and I am apparently a freak seeking discomfort!) I am not a shy person- no fear of public or shopping. I have no problem standing up for myself or asking for help- yet at the Raiford I find myself intimidated. My friend who turned me onto the Raiford shares my opinions on the staff!!\r \r The selection of gifts and jewlery is fantastic and ever changing. The jewelry can, at times, be overwhleming. I have spent an hour pacing in front of the cases with no-one to guide me or feeling that by asking someone to for assistance was an imposition.\r \r I send my husband here for all my gifts. They do have a nice gift list they can keep available for future shoppers that is helpful. My friends and husband love it. Although if for some reason you don't LOVE what is chosen for you the staff seems to take it quite personally. Like you aren't ""cool"" enough to understand what you have been given! The upside is you are sure to find something else you will love- but for sure without anyones assistance.\r \r The pottery is nice and you can always find something for a hostess gift. I am obsessed with the yard animals. Fun metal animals recycled from found objects. \r \r The long of it is- be prepared for the staff but enjoy the art. It is fantastic! Pros: Unique gifts-selection constantly varies-wide price range Cons: Staff can be stand-offish
