RUN THE OTHER WAY!! This place gives the appearance of a well-run dance studio with qualified instructors. They even boast big names and competition success to potential students. However, they teach a bunch of young people, some who have never danced a day in their lives, to do some basic ballroom moves (not very well, mind you) and within a few weeks they're teaching. Doesn't sound so horrible, right? Wait until you get past all of the introductory lessons and they charge you with the cost of membership. A few thousand dollars for ten private lessons, ten group lessons, club use and parties. This is what I used to pay in New York for a YEARLY membership to a REAL dance school/club. They survive on a few wealthy older women who come regularly and are happy to pay just for the company. It is downright criminal! I know there aren't many options for those of us here in Knoxville who want to socialize and learn to dance, but this place is a waste of your money. The dancers are rude and clearly underpaid and unhappy. Take my advice and save the few thousand dollars and travel to my old school in New York to take lessons from real dancers. With the cost of the flight, lessons and hotel, you'll still be financially ahead AND you'll really learn how to dance! Pros: A place to go if you have a disposable income and don't care to learn to dance Cons: Unhappy employees, untrained instructors, grossly overpriced!
