I've gone to AA since it opened, just two blocks from my old apartment on W. 49th Street (I've since moved way uptown!). The food has always been excellent but the noise level is so horrendous I've sworn off going there any more. Last time I was there (July, 2006), we asked if the music could be turned down because despite the small (make that EXTREMELY small) table space between my dinner date and myself, we were shouting our conversation and still couldn't be heard. We were told the manager did not want the music turned down. Besides leaving hoarse, we were temporarily hearing impaired -- not a way to spend an evening, at all! We figured out the reason for the deafening level was so that patrons would hurry up and eat and not linger so that new customers could be seated. I'll go to Taco Bell before I go back to AA! Pros: Good food & service Cons: Deafening noise (music)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
