I loved the vacation rental, and the fact that we were able to get a last minute Thanksgiving weekend rental.\r

I was assured that my security deposit would be refunded within 3 weeks. 8 weeks later, I am still waiting. I have called every week, and been politely assured that the accountant has to deal with it, that she is not there and cannot be contacted, and that it will be taken care of....and yet, it is not.\r

We are a couple in our 50s, traveling with mother in law. Not the party type - left the house in perfect order.\r

I was hoping we had found a place we could return to frequently.
Pros: Beautiful vacation rental
Cons: Can't get my security deposit back! ""Accountant"" is not available to explain!
