Review content:
The remodeled downtown Akron-Summit County Public Library opened last year and the facility is state of the arts.
The ultra-modern building is art in building form and the chairs and desks are also modern styling. The library has many copies of just released texts and educational CDs and DVDs. They also have popular movies and music, although I can't say I think libraries should have the public pay for those out of public monies. That is what movie rental places are for!
The staff is super helpful and can assist you in research, job skills and searching for information on just about any topic. The special collections has an amazing set of history, interviews and old photographs. An appointment is needed to use the special collections.
