Review content:
During a recent business trip, I thought this place fell short. The ambience was very nice, a bit dark but cozy. The service was excellent but I was disappointed with the menu, which featured a lot of standard items suck as grilled steak, colorado lamb, chicken cordon bleu...etc. I guess I just expected more creativity. I started with the broiled escargot, which were good, but similar to many other versions that I've eaten in the past. Nothing particularly interesting about it. I ordered the Lobster Scampi for my entree and, again, sort of boring. My partner ordered the Alaskan King Salmon which was five-spice seasoned and served with nutmeg infused creamed spinach, and that was tasty. For dessert we tried the cinnamon creme brulee and the chocolate bread pudding. Both were good. The wine list was somewhat limited. Not a bad place, but I'm sure Boston has better to offer.
Pros: Ambience, Service
Cons: , Limited Wine List
