Review content:
Debbie brought her '97 Honda Civic to Ray's Garage with an estimate from a body shop to replace her A/C Compressor as it was locked up and hadn't worked for 5 years. My estimate, using new O.E. parts was in\r line with the estimate from the body shop's. Their estimate was based on aftermarket parts. I made it very clear to Debbie that I felt very uncomfortable replacing a Compressor in an A/C system that hadn't worked for five years, because it would ""probably"" have other related issues. She told me that she understood this and was prepared to repair the car. The vehicle also had a leak at the Evaperator Core. There was no way to determine this prior to replacing the locked up A/C Compressor. The Evaperator Core was also replaced and now has cold air for her. The estimate ""was not"" twice what she was originally quoted! I made every aspect of this repair very clear to Debbie. It's unfortunate that her vehicle needed the additional repair, but she was advised this would probably be the case.\r Peggy Maul - Owner\r Ray's Garage
