Tesla Rocks! and not in a bad 80s hair band kind of way...
I read all about Vanity Junkie on Citysearch (along with many other salons) and decided to give it a try. I typically go to local schools (Aveda and Paul Mitchell) for services as I don't get to riled up about salons in general. I wanted a new look and wasn't sure what it was exactly, just something different than I usually have. I walked into VJ was welcomed and waited for my appt on a comfy couch. Tesla greeted me and took time to discuss what we should do to change my look, she had a lot of good ideas. Her skills and personality made the appt fun and time flew. Now I have a great style that works for when I let my unruly wavy hair do its thing and can be sleekly styled with a flat iron. I will be back to see them! You should go too for a welcoming and fun salon experience without all the ""we're too hip and cool for you"" attitude of salons in the Pearl or downtown...
Next time I am asking about the Bar mentioned in other review as I missed it this time...
Pros: Experienced and creative stylists
Cons: I didn't get to experience the Bar...
