I was just looking for India Star?s phone number to give a friend and I saw a review here that said their food was terrible. That prompted me to sit down and submit my own review.\r

I have been lucky enough to have traveled all of the world, including India, and with very rare exception India Star has some of the best Indian food I have ever had. In fact the Chicken Vindaloo (if you order it extremely hot) is the very best I have ever had anywhere in the World. \r

My vegetarian friends also rave about the excellent quality and taste of their food, so I can not understand how anyone could claim that this restaurant has terrible food. Quite the opposite from my experience. The best Indian food all around anywhere, period.\r

If I was to point out something that could improve, I would say that wait staff?s English skills could be better. But this is really nitpicking because at India Star you can get the best Indian food in world, right here in Des Moines, so what the problem?\r
