Review content:
I would give Petman a negative 5 if it was possible. I purchased a Cambells Hamster, Rodey, from Mr.Petman in April, 2009. I was very happy with my hamster, until I realized that hamsters need to be sold when they are around 6 weeks, not 3 weeks like Rodey was. I didn't think anything of it, until i heard that Petman purchases hamsters from off the street, which means people walk in and sell hamsters from their own backyards. they are from house holds that you have no idea what went on; were they bred properly, are they healthy, have they been checked by a vet? Rodey was in a litter of about 10. None of the babies were checked for health problems.\r On the day Rodey had to be euthanized, she was only 6 MONTHS OLD and had upper respitory problems that she had been suffering with all her life, kidney problems, and another problem that I cannot remember the vet told me, we were not aware of these problems. It hurts to know that she was suffering.\r GO TO PETCO OR PETSMART if you want a hamster or small animal. Those hamsters are VERY will taken care of from conception until adoption. I just don't want you or your child get upset when your hamster dies at only 6 months old, Rodey was the most outgoing hamster I have ever seen and this has been an extremely painful loss I have been through today. Pros: Variety Cons: Read Details..
