Businiess name:  Bavarian Bakery

Review content:
this bakery is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the visit! After searching all day for some lubcuken and all the other bakeries in town telling me they didn't even know what they were I was referred here. i was told it was the ONE authentic German bakery. Although they did not have lubcuken at our visit, the last weekend in October, they said they will be making in next month, closer to the holiday season. She even said they could mail it to me. I purchased a macaroon cookie and it was wonderfully moist and delicious! They also sold other cookies, cakes, breads, drinks, pickled herring and mustard. They were very friendly and since we told her we were looking for authentic German food, she referred us to the two restaurants who are run by Germans and use German chefs. If I ever return to Leavenworth, I will definitely go there! Pros: Authentic German Goodies, friendly service Cons: off the beaten path
