Businiess name:  Smith Brothers Car Wash
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I took my car to Smith Brothers and paid for a $9 Deluxe Wash (or whatever it's called...it's the best one they've got). My car looked worse when it came out of the wash than it did when it went in! The rinse did not clean the soap residue off the car, and there were still large, dirty spots on the vehicle. I told the car wash attendant (who seemed to have difficulty understanding English) that my car was not clean, and he indicated that I should run it through again. The second time was no better than the first, and my car looked even worse. I told the attendant that I wanted my money back, and he responded by pulling out a cell phone, calling his boss and walking away from me to have the conversation. He then came back and handed me the phone. The man, who later told me his name was Clark Smith, told me he would give me a voucher for a free wash. I told him that was unacceptable, since his car wash was not cleaning my car, and I wanted my money back. He then told me that the equipment ""probably just needed to be adjusted"" and that the attendant on duty was not ""authorized"" to give me a refund because ""you can't trust just anyone with your money"" and his employee did not have access to any cash on the premises. I politely suggested that maybe he should fix his equipment and invest in a more trustworthy employee, and he told me I could come by tomorrow morning and see him for a refund. I told him that's not convenient to me, and he told me it's not convenient for him to leave his house and drive 35 minutes to his business, but he hoped that I would return and continue to be a customer. I told him I would no longer do business there after I got my refund, and that I would happily wait for him if he could come and get me my money back. He finally told me that the person on duty has access to ""some cash in the back"" and would get me my money. He did, and I left and got my car washed elsewhere. I won't be back.\r Pros: I finally got a refund without having to come back the next day, free vacuum Cons: Value, service, employees, equipment - pretty much the whole experience
