Where are the crowds? This quirky little theatre is the BEST deal in town and I'm always surprised that it's not packed. They run great movies, offer adult beverages, good concessions, bistro tables in the back rows if you want to dine during the show, and front door parking. The owners are friendly and available and though I'm not crazy about the menagerie of birds and reptiles in the lobby...they certainly add to the adventurous spirit of this jewel of a theater. The showtimes are never the same from one day to the next so you always have to double check to see when your choice of movies is showing, but at a mere $3.00 a ticket...who cares? South Windemere Theater is a Charleston entertainment masterpiece. I think I'll go again tonight!
Pros: Small and intimate, you can enjoy alcoholic beverages and eat dinner during the show, convenient parking, fun and friendly atmosphere
Cons: Must check movie showtimes daily, if you are afraid of birds and lizards..go somewhere else.
