I?ve been to Ristorante DeGrezia located on E 50th st many a times and the experience has always been amazing. DeGrezia is a warm and comfortable setting with an excellent menu. The food is flavorful, fulfilling and beautifully prepared. The complimentary variety of warm breads accompanied by a tasty olive oil dipping sauce and creamy, flavorful humus spread is simply delightful.
Some of my favorite dishes are?The Capellini Con Aragosta?. ?Angel hair pasta prepared in a lobster sauce with fresh lobster and a touch cream and cognac- IT IS TO DIE FOR? And if you love fish your mouth will thank you with this ""Chilean sea bass"" prepared in a tomatoe-zucchini and yellow squash herb broth with couscous. ---OMG out of this world Also if you love cheese like I do. You must try the cheese plates. It?s a mixed plate of a variety of Italian Cheeses, such as Teleggio, Parmigiano, Gorgonzola, and Tuscan Pecorino --YUM!!! ....I cannot say enough about DeGrezia, every dish is perfect from the timing to the temperature to the array of flavors that came thru in every bite.
If you love to eat and want the experience and some of the most exquisite tasting Italian food you will have in NYC, then you have found your place at DeGrezia ?(a little pricy but so worth every penny).
DeGrezia is a Great unpretentious relaxed atmosphere where the Maitre D and waiters are very attentive and the food is second to none, whether on a ?first date? or a ?party celebration?, You won?t be disappointed?. you will leave wanting more.
