I'm a longterm resident of Austin, and huge supporter of local businesses. However, The Garden Room is one local business I will never support again. Everytime I've been in this shop, I have never felt welcomed. The last time I visited the store affirmed that my past experiences there were not just one-time bad encounters. When I walked in the door, there were three sales persons standing near one another at the jewelry counter, and for a brief moment they stopped talking, and with a head to toe glance of me, they almost scoffingly dismissed my presence. After browsing for 10 minutes, without being even asked if I needed any help, I left the store vowing to myself that I would never step foot in there again. Garden Room Staff.....change the vibe, the attitudes, the environment to make your store more welcoming to all of your customers!
