This Is It Soul Food is a legendary in the city of Houston since 1959. People come from cross country to see if the reputation of good food is true. In my opinion this is an inexpensive place to have a meal for a family. The portions are very generous for under $ 20.00 plus there's enough for leftovers. The food is delicious the mac n cheese is to die for, the rice with forty weight gravy, meatloaf with the tomato sauce, te cornbread muffin melt in your mouth, pork chops are mouth watering just to name a few. If you're hungry this is the place to dine the best Soul Food in Houston. This food is definitely prepared with love. My son loves this restaurant and wants to go there all the time because he says it his favorite restaurant. He's loves the mac n cheese and the atmosphere with the beautiful aquariums. This is down home cooking at its finest. I highly recommend this restaurant and you may even get a glimpse of a celebrity. If you can't cook ""This Is It Soul Food is the place. Enough said !!! Enjoy!!!
